Reclaim the Street, published this month by Thames & Hudson, showcases the very best street photography today, featuring work from more than one hundred contemporary photographers, from the established to the emerging, from all corners of the globe.
Stephen McLaren will introduce the project, followed by an illustrated talk about topics of the book hosted by Matt Stuart, with the help of featured photographers Elizabeth Bick, Stephen Leslie, Niall McDiarmid, and Eleonore Simon.
Authors and photographers will be happy to sign copies of the book which can be purchased in the Bookshop in the lower ground floor during the evening.
Stephen McLaren is coauthor of the acclaimed Street Photography Now and editor of Magnum Streetwise. A writer for the British Journal of Photography, he has also curated histories of street photography at Tate Liverpool, the School of Life, and various international street photography festivals.
Matt Stuart is one of the leading street photographers working today and the author of All That Life Can Afford and Think Like a Street Photographer. He has exhibited his work and taught street photography all over the globe.
