Curators Talk: Exhibiting the Arctic (online)

This event is part of our Past Programme

Join the exhibition curators of Evgenia Arbugaeva: Hyperborea and Arctic: Culture and Climate in this hour long talk

This online event features Anna Dannemann (The Photographers’ Gallery), Amber Lincoln (British Museum) and Karen McQuaid (The Photographers’ Gallery), curators of Evgenia Arbugaeva: Hyperborea and Arctic: Culture and Climate. Both exhibitions look at the Arctic as a point of inspiration - as both subject and material. Together in this hour-long discussion, they will give insight into the weather, climate and the pressures it puts on its peoples - themes shared across the two exhibitions and what it means to show work of and from that region.

Details on how to access the talk will be confirmed upon registration. Please check your junk folders if you haven't received an email from TPG staff confirming your place.

Members who register for this event will enjoy an exclusive 15-minute preview, where they will have the opportunity to meet the curators and gain further insights into how they curated the two exhibitions ahead of the main talk.

Anyone can book on to one of these events and pay as much or as little as they are able. A typical ticket would cost between £5 and £8. Any more than that is greatly appreciated and goes directly into supporting our public programmes.
