Renowned for his pioneering use of colour, Joel Meyerowitz works across street, landscape and portrait photography to capture the intimacy of life through chance moments. Hear Meyerowitz reflect on his long career, which spans over 50 years, and share observations on what continues to inspire him. Moderated by writer and editor Louise Benson.

Biographies
Louise Benson is a writer based in London. She is the deputy editor of biannual art and culture magazine Elephant, where she covers issues relating to gender and sexuality; identity and diaspora; mental health and the internet. She is also the co-creator of Scenic Views, an independent interiors magazine that focuses on the places that often go unnoticed, from hotel lounges to suburban driveways.
Joel Meyerowitz is an award-winning photographer whose work has appeared in over 350 exhibitions in museums and galleries around the world. Celebrated as a pioneer of colour photography, he is a two-time Guggenheim Fellow, a recipient of both National Endowment for the Arts and National Endowment for the Humanities awards, and a recipient of The Royal Photographic Society's Centenary Medal. He has published over 30 books. Meyerowitz lives and works in New York and in Italy.
